Effective Co-Parenting for Fathers
Date and time
Location
Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church
915 North 5th Street Stroudsburg, PA 18360Description
Parenting is difficult. When you add the additional hurts of a broken relationship between spouses or lovers, parenting becomes even more difficult as there are different expectations and different homes for the children. When separation or divorce occurs, parenting becomes "co-parenting" as parents must cooperate for the benefit of the children. Both parents have a say in the child's life, but working together may seem impossible for some.
Effective Co-Parenting for Fathers is a one-day (6 hour) training for fathers to improve their skills at co-parenting. Throughout the day, Father's will learn how to be a successful co-parent, learn the differences in parenting styles & approaches, how to solve parenting differences, legal rights and responsibilities, how to have successful visits with your child, and receive additional resources for help. The materials presented are from the National Fatherhood Initiative (www.fatherhood.org).
